Merdeka Weekend Outing @ Sepang Gold Coast

Due to Merdeka falls on Monday meaning that all Malaysian can have a long weekend... from friday till monday.

Having no idea what to do on Merdeka day, I've suggested to visit Sepang GoldCoast! Start our journey at 5pm.. (yeah.. I know is a bit late) and we reach there about 6+pm.. We manage to catch the sunset but it was cloudy that day therefore... not that good!

Walk around the beach and took a lot pictures with him! (:

Well, it was a big dissappointment! The sand is not nice and the water is not clear... so don't put a too high expectation here!

this is a belated post..

As I promised earlier, I will update my 21st Birthday Celebration. Well, I didn't organize any bombastic birthday party BUT just a normal dinner with dear and friends on birthday eve (4th July 09) and birthday lunch with family on the actual day (5th July 09).

Heard a lot about Bubba Gump Shrimp Co for quiet some time but haven't try it before therefore, I've chose to have my birthday dinner there and followed by drinking party at Laundry Bar, The Curve.Waited for 25minutes for tables meaning the place is actually a high crowd place and so.... pls make reservation if you decide to dine at Bubba Gump, The Curve.

Once seated, we were given menu and taught how to use the 'Run Forest Run'and 'Stop Forest Stop' signboard. Run Forrest Run” means that you do not need their services yet, just enjoy the food or flipping the menu. But, when you need their service, simply flip the board to “Stop Forrest Stop”. Then, they will be at your service.

There are also some Jacob’s Crackers on the table for you to snack on while waiting for your food.

Main Course- Bourbon Street Baramundi

Bourbon Street Baramundi is one of their speciality.A mix of grilled barramundi fish, prawns (peeled) served with creamy sauce lying on a bed of mash potatoes and served with deep fried tortilla strips. This is a great dish I would recommend, love the combination. Very comforting indeed, you could shovel spoonfuls of everything in your mounth.

Linguini with shrimps The taste is normal... but the prawns are really fresh... thumbs up...

Shrimpin Dippin'broth

Order the Shrimpin Dippin'broth comes serves with jasmine rice and frech bread for dippin
shrimps cooked in a spicy broth- RM35.90

I don't know the name of this dish but it taste good. =D

Nice desert menu- We didn't ordered any desert as all of us are full!

Well, the service there is slow... We finish our main course already but the drinks and appertizer is still not served yet... urgh.....

Well, all the girls can't really drink so I just ordered 2 buckets of Heineken & 2 liters of Long Island Tea.
Sharp at 12am, they brought me a cake and dang.. dang... IM officially 21!!

MIA aka Missing In Action

I'm so sorry for being MIA for soooo long..

Well, I've been really busy this few weeks due to mid-term tests, assignment, thesis proposal & shopping!! Due to my inefficiency in managing my own time and sleeping too much, i got no time to blog. So sorry ya..

So.. From today onwards, need to work hard and finish all my assignments ASAP and no more tidakape attitude anymore!!! Gambateh.

Soon Lei Fish Head Noodle

It was hot Sunday afternoon and having no idea what to eat at 4pm.. Dear is craving for fish head noodle but both of us doesn't fancy Wing Soon Fish Head Noodle.. We find the soup is too sour and doesn't worth it for the price of RM7.80 per bowl with one 3 small pieces of fish. After I've done so research, I found Soon Lei and Goon Wah at Kuchai Lama. Unfortunately, Goon Wah is closed at that time and so we went further up to Soon Lei. Luckily we arrive on time before their kitchen start cleaning up. We ordered a single portion of Fish Head Noodle and a single portion of Claypot Rat Tail Noodle.

Soon enough the food arrive. First, the Fish Head Noodle( RM11). Even before the dish was placed on our table, I could already smell the aroma of the wine simmering in the bowl of seafood broth. Inside were thick chunks of fried fish head, preserved vegetables, tomatoes and yam. All very good, of course. *two tumbs up*

Next, the Claypot Rat Tail Noodle (RM5). Lots of minced pork, dried shrimps and fried shallot are being placed on top of the noodle. Taste was bland. I need to add soy sauce to make it more tasty. Bad.

I saw a girl in Uni today holding the same water tumbler which I'm holding too.. i can't believe it. *FAINT*

Another year had past. My dear is celebrating his birthday on the 8th June (two days ago). Not much celebration has been done. Just dinner on the day before with his mum and on the actual day is with ME! =D

I ordered 16pcs of cupcakes from PrettyFrosting to suprise him. Well, the cupcakes is really good. Rich and moisture. Would again from PrettyFrosting in the future. *two tumbs up*

9 Days Trip

Hie everyone... I'm back after a looong vacation. Well, I've went to Macau, Hong Kong, Shenzhen & Guangzhou with dear and another couple. The trip was superb! Food was great! Shopping is fantastic!

1st Day- Upon arriving Macau airport, we took a cab to Macau jetty where we can travel to Hong Kong by ferry. The ticket cost us HKD120 per person and the journey took about 45minutes. Well, it was bad! I vomitted at the ferry!! gosh... Once we arrive at Tsim Sha Tsui pier, we walked to the nearest MTR station and took a train to Yau Ma Dei which is where our hotel is located. We bought a octopus card (HKD150) so its more convenience for us to travel around Hong Kong. Their MTR is superb!! Fast, efficient and very punctual in time. We manage to find our hotel (Dorsett Seaview) and the room is super small. Is smaller then Genting First World Hotel. Once we checked in, we went for lunch at coffee shop near by and try out their local speciality and not forgetting my favourite milk tea (lai cha). After lunch, we went back to hotel to rest and at night, we went to Temple Street ( Miu Kai) which is located right in front of our hotel and after that, we took MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui to experience the Avenue of Star where you can watch the night scenery of Hong Kong building and we continue our shopping at Sai Yeung Choi Street.

2nd Day- Early in the morning right after our breakfast, we headed to Hong Kong Disneyland! Arrive at HK Disneyland around 11am and start snapping a lot of pictures. The enterence ticket cost HKD 350 per ticket and you do not need to pay for anything else in the park unless for your own food, drink and souvenirs. The park consists of four themed lands similar to other Disneyland parks:Main Street, USA, Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorowland. The theme park's cast members use English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Mandarin dialects, to communicate verbally. Guide Maps are printed in both Traditional and Simplified characters, Japanese, and in English. This is the best time to let yourself down and relax and go back to your childhood moment and meet your favourite Disney characters. Remember, get your camera ready and snap some picture with your favourite disney character! It was a great experience in Disneyland! Had lots of fun and sweet memories. Unfortunately, the Golden Mickey Show is closed and the train in Disneyland is also under maintenance so we could ride on it. We spend a whole day there till 8pm and we left after the firework show. Took MTR back to Mong Kok to continue our shopping at Ladies market (something like our Petaling Street).

3rd Day- Planned to go Ngong Ping 360 but it was closed due to maintenance as well so we went to Wong Tai Sin Temple after our breakfast. Wong Tai Sin Temple, a Taoist temple established in 1921, is one of the most famous temples in Hong Kong. Most of the visitors come to the temple in search for a spiritual answer via a practice called Kau Cim. We light incense sticks, kneel before the main altar, make a wish, and shake a bamboo cylinder containing fortune sticks until a stick falls out. This stick is exchanged for a piece of paper bearing the same number, and then the soothsayer will interpret the fortune on the paper for the worshiper. Often the same piece of fortune is taken to multiple booths for verification purposes. For each verification, it cost RMB20. Right after we finish praying, took the MTR back to Tsim Sha Tsui for shopping again. We went to Central where all the branded shop is located. From Anya Hindmarch to Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Coach you can definately find it here! Any brand you name it, they sure have it here. Their shop is huge and their promoter is friendly too! Chow Tai Fook and City Chain is located in every corner of the street! I bought a Titus watch from City Chain cost me HKD 1180 after 20% discount. At night, we went to a street selling all types of sport shoe. From Nike to Adidas they have is here and I manage to get myself a pink Adidas sport shoe (HKD399). Hong Kong is really a shopping paradise. =D

9 Dragons Wall- Wong Tai Sin Temple.

4th Day- After breakfast, we checked out at Hong Kong hotel and continue our journey to Shenzhen by their MTR service. From Yau Ma Dei station to Lo Wu station cost us only HKD36.50 for normal class and double the price for first class. We opt for the first class due to better seat and more confortable environment. 45minutes later we reached Lo Wu, where Shenzhen is located. Walk across the bridge and immigation department only, we say hello to Shenzhen, China. We took a cab to hotel (Empire Hotel RMB249 per night) and we were warmly greet by the hotel staff. Once check in, we went out for lunch at a Chinese Restaurant. Ordering 4 dishes and a soup only cost us RMB160 inclusive rice, beer and soft drink! The food portion is huge and we can't even finish it! Food in China is so much cheaper compare to Hong Kong! Gosh.. After lunch, we took a cab to Dong men. Dong Men Shopping District is not a department store, its an open air shopping area that is interconnected, with hundred plus shops. A shopping heaven, and its lively at night.. where all the wholesale shop is located and we saw a lots of CROCS shoes! The Crocs shoes here is super cheap only RMB15 per pair meaning that only about RM8. It come with original crocs tag and crocs plastic as well.. I really cant differentiate it that authentic or not! Dear bought a pair for himself and a pair for his mother while i bought two pairs for my little nieces... Fashion clothes, belts, bags and shoes is cheap here but remember you must bargain, bargain and bargain! Must bargain at least 70% off the price they offer you! After a whole dayof walking, we decided to pampered ourself with a manicure, pedicure and leg massage. Dear enjoy it a lot since it was his first time having manicure and pedicure! Im sure he enjoy it alot!! Manicure and pedicure is so much cheaper compare to Malaysia. Only cost us RMB10 for manicure while the pedicure cost us RMB50 inclusive of scrub and 45minutes leg massage. Good deal right?! Before the night end, we went for supper. Trying different types of local delicacies in Shenzhen.

5th Day- Had dim sum in the morning and the food was good. After breakfast, we went to Splendid China. Entrence ticket cost RMB120 per pax. It is an attraction at the Overseas Chinese Town, Shenzhen that has scaled down replicas of China's historical buildings, wonderful scenes and folk customs. Here you can see replicas of many of the most famous Chinese buildings and landmarks and a great deal of attention has been paid to detail so as to ensure the miniatures truly represent their originals. This miniatures includes The Great Wall, The Forbidden City, The Old Summer Palace, Ancient Observatory of Beijing, the Mogao Caves of Dunhuang, Tibet's Potala Palace and so on. We spend the whole afternoon there and can't ever finish walking the whole park! It was hot and the place is so huge! At night, we went back to Dong Men for shopping and more good food!

6th Day- Hakka dishes in Shenzhen? It must be weird having Hakka dishes in Shenzhen but it turn out to be really good food and the price is fairly reasonable as well. We hire a private taxi to Guangzhou (RMB350) and the journey took about 2 hours 30 minutes. We check-in our hotel at New East Asia Hotel (RMB200 per night). Dear know the manager in this hotel that's why we manage to get a good rate. The hotel service is good and the the room is spacious and clean. Next, shopping again at Beijing Road. This street is one of my favourite shopping areas in Guangzhou. It has absolutely everything; cheap clothes, good food and even a little history.. there is a display of the original road from the song dynasty (960 - 1279 A.D). Dear took us to a street where there sell all different types of food. The food is good and cheap too. Mostly all less than RMB10. The brand located here you can easily find it in Malaysia such as Giordano, LP Zone, Baleno, Samuel and Kelvin, Levi's etc. All prices are fixed therefore no bargaining. Shop closed early too. About 10pm they start closing already. Had dinner somewhere nearby and the food was good too but it was a little bit too oily.

7th Day- Next, Shangxia Jiu Lu. Shangxia Jiu Lu is the most influential traditional commercial street in Guangzhou. Shangxia Jiu Lu Pedestrian Street is located in the Liwan District of Xiguan, a prosperous traditional commercial district. It is the first commercial pedestrian street in Guangzhou. Walking into this street, you will see the featured Qi Lou, an old building style that exists in Guangzhou and its neighboring areas, on both sides of the road. It reflects the strong Lingnan Culture. On this street lie more than 200 stores, especially those brand name restaurants and teahouses open here which is another shopping paradise.. Spend whole day of shopping and makan makan only.

8th Day- After a not-so-nice breakfast behind our hotel, we walk to the bus station to check out the bus ticket to Zhu Hai on the next morning. We manage to purchase the tickets priced at RMB70 per ticket. Next, we walk around that area and we found out from the local there is a electronic street nearby and soon enough we found it. I didn't join the men to continue their shopping at the electronic street due to the hot whether and i went back to the hotel. In the evening, we went to Shangxia Jiu Lu Pedestrian Street again for dinner and some shopping again.

9th Day- Woke up late. Nearly miss the bus to Zhu Hai but luckily we manage to catch the bus. Took about 2hours and 30minutes to reach Zhu Hai. Before check out at the China Immigration, we had our lunch there. A japanese restaurant but without sushi. Only bento set they serve. No photo are allowed to be taken too. After lunch, we check out at the China Immigration and back to Macau. Walk around Macau and bought the famous Koi Kei Almond Cookie Priced at HKD32 per box. Well, there have 6 outlets in Macau and mostly everyone on plane will surely carry a bag of Koi Kei almond cookie or egg roll. Left Macau at 4.30pm and headed to Macau airport. Its time to go back to Malaysia! The end of my 9 days trip!!

Everyone is busy shopping for prezzie and everyone know how overrated Valentine's Day can be.
Flower on other day would be great but never on V-Day..
Prices are skyrocketing on this special day..
But a nice dinner with best partner of life is a MUST on this day..
At first plan to visit Crab Island on this day with besties and dear..
But cancel at last minute.. due to a bestie got some p&c prob..
So staying at home with dear or a movie would be great.. =D
So how would u guys out there spend ur V-day?

Lunch @ Sakae Sushi

Another shopping trip with bestie at Sunway Pyramid.. Before that, we have lunch at Sakae Sushi. Nice decoration and cozy environment in the restaurant.

Not much service by this restaurant as everything is computerized and even refilling hot water by ourself too..

My all time favourite- Teriyaki Chicken Don. The gravy are great and the chicken meat is so tender.

For SKun, she always wanted to try Japanese curry therefore she ordered Katsu Curry Don. According to her, the curry is abit tasteless..

Okonomiyaki- Big portion and very filling.. Nice and worthy..

Chrismas Lunch @ Daorae Korean BBQ

Having Christmas Lunch with family is a must everyear even tho I'm not a Christian.. This time, my eldest sister, Pauline suggest to try out Korean BBQ at Hartamas. We opt for Daorae this time. This place is located above a korean mini market. Once we entered the restaurant, we were warmly greet by the staffs. Good service...

Daorae Garden is run by a Korean boss and he was around to welcome customers as well as taking orders.

No oily and smokey feeling due to the exhaust ducts.

Unlimited refills of side dishes.

Christmas Eve Dinner @ Crystal Jade, The Garden

Tucked in a little corner of The Gardens on the top floor is Crystal Jade Restaurant with unremarkable grey wall mimicking slabs of stones pilling atop each other. The interior is pretty amazing with glass windows overlooking the areas surrounding The Gardens.

Once we arrived, the waiter brought us to another part of the restaurant which is more private. Soon after, the waiter brought us the menu and introduce their signature dishes to us. Let's see what we had on that night:-

Cucumber pieces and chilies..

Since there is only 4 of us, we ordered half of the Peking Duck. The crispy skin are wrapped with popiah skin *i think so* and the meat are used to fried with taugeh and salted fish.

Final work- Peking Duck Skin wrapped with pita bread serves with prawn cracker. The skin is so crispy. Yum Yum..

Beancurd with crabmeat and egg. The taufoo is so smooth and is added with vegetable inside.

Dinner @ Mizi Shabu Shabu

Mizi Shabu Shabu is nestled amidst a bustling rows of eateries at Bandar Puteri Puchong. It's located just behind Bumbu Bali and if you are having a hard time locating this place, try tilt your head up to look for the neon lighted steamboat.

A special dippings sauce made from a mixture sesame, peanut chunks, spring onions and soy sauce is really nice. **thumbs up**

Each diner gets his or her own pot, which means you can customised the soup to your own liking. Unfortunately, during night time, they only serve clear soup- no tomyam or herbal. It's more hygenic too.

Hot green tea- bottomless..

We opt for the couple Set (RM 25) that comes with prawns, small fish slices, fish balls, tiny blocks of yoki tofu, quail eggs, tofu puffs, instant noodle trying to be yee mee and abundance of glass noodles and vegetables. The food is very fresh and the place is very comfortable, so I wouldn't mind to come back again.

In addition to the above, we added lamb slices (RM8)- very fresh.

Steamboat won't be perfect without enoki mushroom (RM7) .. =D

And lastly, my favourite- Seafood taufoo (Rm3.50)

Lunch @ Dragon-i

It a hot afternoon with Dear at The Curve, Mutiara Damansara.. Having no idea what to eat therefore we walk around and we spot this.. It’s been a long time since I last stepped into Dragon-i coz I had some bad experience my last time there. But, running out of ideas what to eat, we decided to explore it again.

Appertiser of the day- Xio Long Bao. The skin was slighty too thick and dry on top. Although their soup and filling was tasty, I was dissapointed with the skin.One good thing is they recently switched to using big cabbage leaves to line the base of the steam basket instead of paper.

Next is the Seafood Fried La Mien.. Come with generous amount of seafood and the noodles are great too..

When you think of Ipoh food, apart from bean sprout chicken hor fun Yim Kok Kai or salted chicken naturally comes into the picture but to be exact it is a herbal chicken steamed with rock salt. It is not something that you’ll eat every day, especially with the high content of salt but it makes a good souvenir. Well the reason I say souvenir is because, its only available for take away – no eat-ins. Some suggest that you eat it immediately to get the best result but according to the shop owner – you can keep it in the freezer and it will last up to at least a week.

Well, as the price stated, it is RM16 per bird and make sure u be early to book your chicken and be there on time to collect it before it finish..

This is the kitchen- look at the box and how many stoves there have for preparing the chicken.. No wonder Malaysia is a country which is high demand for chicken!

Lunch at Ipoh

While on the way back from Penang after the Treasure Hunt, we stopped by Ipoh for lunch.. BIL suggested to try out Lou Wong Bean Sprout and Chicken Rice at town... After turning here and there for 20 minutes, we finally reached the place!! Waoh.. it was 4pm and the shop is so crowded... Ipoh people have lunch/dinner at 4?? I wonder...

Waited for 15 minutes before we manage to get a table.. The workers are rude!! Simply push people and the shop is so crowded and hot!!! OMG... We seated ourselves and was almost instantly served.

The shop speciality- Steamed Chicken with soy source- As I'm not a big fan of steamed chicken, i can only comment that the meat are really smooth...

But I love the bean sprout, its super juicy and crunchy, again according to the locals ~ its because of the water quality (mountain water!!!).

Its time for family again... Dad suggested to try out Nyonya Food at Sri Petaling. This restaurant is located at Sri Petaling's most famous food street, Jalan Radin Anum 1.

I been here once looong loooong time ago and can't remember what i had the last round.. So for this round, we ordered the following dishes:-

Claypot Bean Curd with Chinese Mushroom and Bean Curd Skin. Nothing special about this but the gravy are great!!

Stir-fried brinjal with salted fish.. The binjal texture are cooked just perfectly.. =D

The famous salted egg fried sotong! must-try dish!

Dad's favorite- Claypot Curry Fish Head.. lots of fish meat, brinjal, lady fingers & tau fu pok as well.. another must try dish!!

Bean Curd with salted fish- The bean curd are home-made therefore the texture is extremely soft and smooth..

Overall, the cooking is nice and the price is quite reasonable as well. RM 130 inclusive of a plate of complimentary fruits. With such price, cooling and neat environment, most importantly, nice food, it's no wonder i keep going back for more.

Chatterbox at One Utama is a pretty good location I must say as this eatery is located in da Rainforest side where you can actually sit outside and enjoy da green green trees scenery =D Dear told me that Chatterbox seems to be not doing so well these days right after da appearance of Kluang Station. Hmmm.. as what I saw yesterday, I think that he was right because Kluang Station was fully packed with diners while Chatterbox looked quite empty. Perhaps it could be because Kluang Station is Halal certified while Chatterbox isn't.

As i was quite full on that day and we are rushing for movie, therefore i just ordered a pork chop bun.. Is quiet different with other HongKie rest as this pork chop bun is a topped with lots of onions and tomato sauce.. Well, it taste good with the sauce and the meat are just tender enough..

Dear had cheese baked rice with seafood in white sauce.. It was so cheesy and come with generous amount of seafood but the portion is quite small..

It was my first experience dining in Manhattan Fish Market.. Once we walked into the restaurant, we were warmly greet by the waiters and very quickly the menu were brought by the waiter. We ordered a deep fried calamari and our promotion set which are the Fish n' Chips..

Dipping sauces- Chillies, finely chopped garlic and Tartar sauce..

Appetizer of the day- Deep Fried Calamari (RM9)

quiet a large portion of fish and the meat are fresh too..

Went there with working mates after work on Sunday nite. This place is nicely decorated with chinese painting, buddha faces and uses wooden tables and chairs.. Let's see what we had on that nite..

My fav- Ebi Tempura.. Yummy but they don't serve with hot sweet soya...weird!

It was my bestie 20th birthday and she suggested to have Korean BBQ instead of just yam cha and movie.. Well, it was my first experience having korean BBQ.. (don't feel suprise ya) and it was her's too.. Haha.. After blogging and seaching around, we decided to head to Seo Gung Korean BBQ @ SS2. This restaurant is located at SS2, Petaling Jaya, Selangor ( on the same row as Eu Yan Sang, above King’s Confectionary) and it’s on the 1st floor, but has a glass facade that attracts attention. However the stairways are easy to miss, so keep a look out!

We are the first customer of the day so its abit quiet and the place are very clean. As foods are mainly prepared in BBQ style. While waiting for everyone to arrive, the boss introduced some of the famous dish of the shop and lastly i made a decision of ordering a set for 5 pax plus another set for 2 pax for sharing as there are 8 of us.. The boss are friendly but his english is kinda difficult to understand as he is a korean.. The set we ordered include grilled pork ribs and broiled chicken ribs, omelette, ginseng chicken soup and a bowl of rice (i don't know wut it called). In addition to that, the owner if the restaurant also give us some complimentary dishes as well.. Time's for pictures..

Fish Head Noodles..

My besties told me there's a famous Fish Head Noodles in Kuchai Lama and immediately i went and try it out with my dear on that night itself.. This shop is located at the new shop lot.. Is a cafe style shop but they are famous for its Fish Head Noodles.. When i reach there, is almost 9.30pm and that shop is FULL with ppls... I waited for about 10 minutes then only i manage to get a table... Once we are seated, the waiter bought us the menu.. They serve variety of fish head noodles which includes fresh water prawn, fish paste, sotong ball and the traditional fish head noodles..

For me, I opt for the Fish Head Noodles with fish paste. The soup was so... heavenly. It had the right combination of tomatos and milk. It came with a generous serving of fish head and fish paste. (RM6.80)

As for my dear, he ordered Fish Head Noodles with fresh water prawn (without milk).. This size of the prawn was big and it was fresh too but it only come with one prawn which divided into two pieces.. I find that the soup is a bit sour but he was fine with it..(RM13.80)

Bak Kut Teh

Darling friend suggested him to try out a Bak Kut Teh shop located near Bandar Puteri Puchong, Puchong. This shop is located near the industrial area and is quiet new.. Luckily with the help and direction of his friend, we manage to get that place quiet easy.. This shop is famous for its dry version of BKT..

Upon walking into the restaurant, you will see many kettles placed strategically around the tables. These kettles are boiling water and are meant for customers to brew their chinese tea. Take a seat and the waiter will bring to you a basketful of tea leaves in bags for you to choose from. I am not really a “chinese tea” expert, so i just pick Jasmine tea (RM3). There are a few small chinese tea cups with one equally small tea pot for you to brew your tea. Apparently, I was supposed to first put the tea leavs in the pot, pour boiling water into the pot, leave it for a minute and pour the contents into the tea cups. Not to drink, but to rinse the cups as well as to sort of “wash the leaves”. You only drink the second brew onwards.

The meal wouldn't be perfect without this two items according to darling...

For the 2 of us, we ordered a portion of dried bak kut teh, stewed pork, a plate of yau mak and some yau char kuai .

Dry Version of BKT- Quiet good and lots of meat too.. The sauce is thick and yummy.. If they add more fried shallots in it then it would be wonderful... (RM12)

Stewed Pork- This is bad... Is fat and the sauce doesn't taste good two.. (RM15)

Service was very good in this place, the boss made sure that we had a good experience, and gave us extra soup in bowls to avoid the customer running out of those very delicious herbal soup... The soup was thick and full of flavor, and the meat well cooked tasted just the way. I guess they put lots of herbs in it.. Next time i gonna come back for the traditional type.

Late Dinner..

It almost 11pm and i got no idea what to eat and dear suggest to try out a cafe at Sri Petaling named Calorie.. Well, when we walked in, the cafe was empty and only two waiter in it.. I thought they were closed but actually no.. Soon, the waiter brought us the menu and they actually served a lot of special and healthy food..

As is already late, i just ordered a ham and egg sandwich.. Nothing much special about this.. But i believe i can do better then them..LOL..

As for darling, he opt for Nissin Noodles with Luncheon Meat and Egg.. The soup was tasteless and the noodles is so soft...

As for desert, darling ordered Tong Yuen.. This is quiet good and will come back for this..

Kung Fu Pan Mee

I have been a big fan of Pan Mee since im a kids. After reading a post from Precious Pea about the hand pulled pan mee in Taman Sri Sentosa, I decided to try it out with my besties since everyday i also need to send her back to Sri Sentosa after college. Surprisingly, she didn't even know where is the shop therefore took sometime to look for it.. Luckily with the help of direction from Precious Pea and Boolicious, I manage to get that shop..

This shop is not very big but is kinda packed maybe is because of lunch hour.. Once we are seated, the lady brought us the menu and start introducing what is famous and start taking our orders.. Quiet alot of varieties which is available including Yee Mee etc.. Both of us also ordered their speciality Kung Fu Hand Pulled Pan Mee... There are two types of Pan Mee which is the soup version and dry version..

Very soon the Pan Mee were served!! The delicious looking bowl of Pan Mee was loaded with minced pork, sliced wood fungus and mushrooms, fried ikan bilis and sweet potato leaves. I added a fish ball and it taste absolutely good!!

From what I understand, they hand pull their Pan Mee (RM4.50 for a small bowl, RM5.50 for a large bowl). The dough is prepared ahead and cut into small portions. Just before you boil the noodles, they are hand pulled into long strips which resemble large pappardelle ribbons. The effect of this method is the noodles are smooth.

Aside from Pan Mee, they also serve Porkballs, Pandan Chicken and Otak-Otak. Overally is quiet ok and will definitely come back for Pan Mee and try out the Pandan Chicken

FGS Dong Zhen, Klang

CNY has passed almost one month and during CNY, many people has been talking about the nice temple located at Banting, Klang where astro had the CNY eve countdown celebration. Me and dear wanted to go so much and i quickly do some research and luckily i managed to get the map. Actually is quiet easy to get to that temple as once you get out from the Banting, Klang exits, just go all the way straight and there are signboard along the road..

The journey takes about 45 minutes drive from Sri Petaling. We went there on the fifth day of CNY and that place was actually packed with peoples especially families. This place is quiet big too as there are many different sections and it actually take me about an hour plus for me to complete walking the whole place.. Well, i should talk less and let's the pictures do the talking on my behalf.. enjoy..

Yesterday acc paper was easy..

Not as difficult as i thought it would be..So I'm happy and glad with it.. =D

As usual after the exam is time to pamper our self with a good lunch..

As for Cami, she ordered Chicken Corden Bleu.. Wrapped with chicken and cheese.. The filling was so yummy.. once you cut in the middle, all the cheese will leak out.. Wonderful as i'm a cheese lover... HeHe..

Is a hot Saturday afternoon and just after my mid-term paper, me and 3 of my besties gather together to have lunch at Leo's Cafe @ OUG Plaza... Is my first time there.. The place is nicely decorated and with cozy environment too.. With the drink & ice-cream bar located at the outside.. Price range is reasonable too.. The provide set lunch as well from RM 8.80 but with limited choice...

Start off the with drinks.. I opt for my all time favaurite- Iced Honey Lemon..

The Claypot Yee Mee.. Worth of money as it consist lots of ingredients- Prawns,sotong, chicken,vege and egg. The soup is abit thick like the cantonese fried noodles sauce.

Bolognese spaghetti ala Thai.. Totally different from normal bolognese spaghetti as it has strong taste of tom yam.. Something special...

Down from the sea- Fish and Chip.. According to my friend, the fish is very fresh.. Yummy..

As included in the set, we were given this mint gelato ice-cream for free..

Is a Valentine's Day and i didn't go anywhere to celebrate it as i have exam on the next day therefore me & dear dear just headed to Sg.Besi for Wan Tan Noodles. This stall is located along the Sg.Besi highway, next to a car workshop. It was a very famous Wan Tan Noodles stall back then but now the quality of the drop rapidly!!Gosh.. it was so bad the taste & is expensive too!! Guess i will never go back for food anymore!!

Dear ordered Duck Meat Wan Tan Noodles... According to him, the meat isn't fresh at all and has one kinda weird taste!! The worst thing is, it only has 5 slices of meat for one big plate of noodles!!! BAD!

As for me, i ordered the normal Char Siew Noodles. The char siew is so fat!! Gosh.. I can't believe it as i ordered thin char siew!!

The best of the night is the Fried Dumpling but is kinda pricy.. RM 1 each...

HomeCook Reunion Dinner..

At last i've time to sort out all the photos and share with of all you what i did during CNY... As usual, on the CNY eve, all of us would gather at home for reunion lunch.. This year, mum did not cook as much as compare to previous year as we always cannot finish all the food... Now.. Let's see what my mum had cooked for our reunion dinner..

We start off with 'Yee Sang'.. We bought the ready packed 'yee sang' from Jusco to reduce hassels... Mum added abalone, salmon and apple in it and the abalone tasted really good!!

Next, is the mushroom with sea cucumber and sea asparagus.. Mum cooked this for about 5 hours therefore the sauce is really thick and all the mushroom are well cooked.
Dad bought roasted chicken and roasted pork from early market...

My favourite dish of the day, stir fry prawn in soy sauce... I luv the taste of the sauce.. Must learn this from mum!!

To balance our meal, we had stir-fried mix vegetable which include broccoli, cauliflower, baby corn and slices of pork..

Eventho all the dishes is not nicely decorated or arrange like those restaurant do, all of us still enjoy the reunion dinner and we tresure our mum hardwork for preparing this wonderful reunion lunch!!! Thank You MaMa..

Is a hot Saturday noon and i was craving to have something cool.. Dear decided to bring me to the newly opened KTZ located at Low Yat Plaza.. The price for the food inceased alot compare to last time.. OMG.. Last time 1 Mango Lo is only RM 5.50 but now is RM 6.60... Incease RM 1.10 each and the mango puree is not as thick as last time!! Bad Bad!!

Well... it has been quiet some times i didn't update my blog... So sowee ya as im busy with the CNY preparation as well as my college stuffs.. My friend introduce me to try out the charcoal fried hokkien mee in section 17 quite sometimes ago but im so lazy to go n search for the place.. Since me and dear also got no idea what to eat on that night, we decided to hunt for the place. Actually is not that difficult to get there too with the help of map..This shop run by an old man and old lady with the help of a young guy but only the old man is cooking. Once we reached, we quickly placed our order first as my friend told me have to wait for very long sometimes.. Well, what she told me was true as i waited for about 40 minutes before my meal is served!

First is the Cantonese Fried Noodles (RM6) .. Look yummy but the meehoon is not crispy enough but the gravy is thick!! Should only opt for keow teow..

Next.. The famous Hokkien Mee (RM 6).. This is really good!! Dear can't stop eating as he said this is the best hokkien mee!! Well, is true as the noodles is just cook at the right texture and the gravy was bravo!! YUM YUM...

Bak Kut Teh @ Rawang

Bak Kut Teh in Rawang?? Well, i thought bak kut teh is only famous in Klang but now in Rawang also? Well, it was my dear's friend decision to try out the bak kut teh in Rawang as he heard that it was really delicious. After much persuade by his friends, we decided to give a try.. This restaurant serves two types of Bak Kut Teh which is the soup version as well as the dry version. Besides that, they also serves fish head and 'lou' pork (i don't know what it called).

As for the dry version, it was pretty good! The gravy was thick with lots of fried shallot and onions. The pork meat was so tender and when it dipped with the gravy, it was fabulous!!!

The soup version turned out to be a big dissapointment as the soup was so oily and is tasteless!! Besides that, it doesn't not come with my favourite inoki mushroom!! Bad... Bad!! I even use the dry version gravy to dipped with the meat.

To balanced out our meal of the day, we ordered a plate of vege.. Nothing much about this as it taste the same everywhere..

I've been eyeing on Sony PSP Slim & Lite for more than 6 months and at last... Darling bought it for me as a Valentine Present!!! Well... Been thinking so long weather should i get it or not and after much persuade by my darling, i bought it but he pay for it!! Gosh... I tot PSP only can play games at first but it also can watch movie, play music, online and oso update my blog!!! Once again thank you darling for buying me such a wonderful gadget!!! I LOVE YOU....

My Homecook Dishes..

Woh.. It has been some times i didn't cook dinner for my dear and all of sudden i feel like cooking last night!! Well, i only know how to prepare normal/ basic dishes so please don't laugh at me ok.. Let's see what i've cook for that night..

As darling wanted to drink soup, so i decided to boil Chicken Herbal Soup.. According to dear, it was delicious!! I remove to chicken skin to prevent it to be oily.. YUM YUM..

Pan fried fish.. I marinated the fish with soy sauce before cook therefore it turned black when i pan-fried it... But is still yummy!!

Last but not least is the stir-fry Siow Pak Choy with prawn & chicken cube...

Dinner @ Ampang Look Out Point

Last Thursday was public holiday and dear decided to go and try the western food dinner which is located at the Ampang Hill ( i dunno what the place called). Wow... Once i reached there around 8.30pm, it was so packed and there are limited parking lots as well! From there, you can see the whole KL night view + is cold too... There are 5 restaurants there which include cafe, western food, Mediterranean food and local cuisine too.. We opt for the Western Food restaurant as this restaurant was build on top of the rest so can have better view.. =D The price for the food was pretty reasonable and there offer quite a lot of variety too..

I opt for the Special Brown Sauce Chicken Chop (RM 13.90) which include ham & cheese as well.. The portion is quite small compare to other places but is yummy!! The sauce was great but is abit cold b'coz of the weather..

As for darling, he opt for the Special Lamb Chop (RM 14.90).. nothing much compare to mine as there are using the same sauce but his portion are much bigger than mine... there are 3 pieces of lamb!! Reasonable rite??

But too bad they don't serve dessert therefore no dessert for that night!

Ampang Yong Tau Foo..

Last nite, Darling and I went to Taipan,USJ for dinner before we go shopping at Sunway Pyramid.. We had Ampang Yong Tau Foo on that night.. Well.. I was really suprise to see the Ampang Yong Tau Foo shop in Taipan.. I always thought that i must go to Ampang then only i can taste the original Ampang Yong Tau Foo.. Darling told me that this restaurant is run by the same management of the original Ampang Yong Tau Foo shop in Ampang.. Well, this restaurant is well decorated with those chinese tang-lung and all the table & seat are nicely arrange but i was suprise that are not much patrons are inside!! Once we seated, the waiter brought us the menu.. This restaurant is much more different from the one in Ampang.. They provide set dinner as well.. We opt for the set B priced at 17.90++ for 2 pax.. Now lets see what is included in the package....

10 pieces of Yong Tau Foo (RM 0.80 per piece).. The size of the yong tau foo is very small compare to the one in Ampang.

A plate of veggy (RM 4.50 for small serving)

Two pieces of pandan leaves chicken wings (RM 2.20 each).. This chicken wing is delicious as it is well marinated and is still juicy inside!!

And two fried dumplings... Not much fish paste in it but wit lots of veggy...

In addition, we add two pieces of fish ball but it turn out to be big dissapointment!! Yucks!!

Lunch @ Kum Kee Chicken Rice Stall

Having no idea what to eat on a Sunday afternoon, Darling suggested to go and eat BBQ pork rice at Happy Garden.. This stall is located in a Coffee Shop named Kedai Makanan & Minuman Meow Meow, right opposite of a four face buddha in Happy Garden. Well.. This stall is very famous for its Siew Yuk & Char Siew.. Is always packed and the q for ta pau is very loooonngg... We reach there quite early on that day hence we don't need to wait very long for seat but we waited for about 25 minutes for our food to be served.

Darling ordered the Siew Yuk rice (RM 4.80) .. Is not very fat & the skin is very CRISPY!! thumbs up for this!!

As for me, I opt for the Char Siew with BBQ chicken rice (RM 4.80).. I luv the Char Siew as it is really delicious... But the chicken is not really recommended in this stall..

And this is the rice!! Very nice even if you just eat the rice as it is very fragrant!!

There are free flow of soup provided too but it is quite oily..

Well, all i can say is reasonable price with delicious food!! YUMMY!!

Dinner @ Pantai Seafood Restaurant

Sis got her bonus and treat the whole family to Pantai Seafood Restaurant, Kg.Sg Kayu Ara. The last time i been here it was 6 months ago and i got surprise that the business of this restaurant is getting better & better!! Almost all the tables are being occupied and there are long waiting list as well! Thank god that my sister has made a reservation earlier! Once i step near the aquarium tank and i fell in luv with this..

The Alaska King Crab!! Price at RM 268 per kg and the minimum weight of this crab is around 2.8KG!! Gosh... Is so expensive!!

Next is the Australia Lobster.. Price at RM 228 per kg.

The bak cheok tiger prawn... The prawn is so fresh!! I love this dish the most!!

Next is the deep fried sotong... This is not really good as the flour is thick and it comes in a very small portion too..

We also had da Pig Trotters. I was pretty amazed though cause according to my BIL, this's somehow a signature dish at this Restaurant. I saw many other diners at different tables ordered da same thing too and once tasted, ooooooooo not bad at all. Quite good, not much of fats and very crispy! and shh.. this is the first time i try Pig Trotters!!

Steam Red Snapper... Not really good as it is over-cooked!!

And this is the Japanese Snail... The Cheese Baked Japanese Snail... This is heavenly good!!

Our all time favourite.. Fried yin yong kai lan. Shredded and deep fried kai lan leaves and then stir fried with its stem again. Finally, garnished with fried small shrimps before being served. It is one of its signature dishes of the restaurants. A very simple vegetable dish yet with a unique taste.

We ordered two different types of crab.. The salted egg yolk crab.. Generally, da Crabs were quite small in size, not so meaty and taste wise, not too good. I could only taste da Salted Eggs outside da shell of da crabs and not from da meat itself.Lack of egg yolk taste! King Crab can do better than this!

Next.. Is our favourite of the day.. The sweet and sour crab!! This is absolutely fabulous!! YUM YUM!!

Bon appetite!

As for desert, the waiter recommend us this.. Honey dew with Sago but it turns out to be a big dissapointment as it doesn't taste good at all!! Is not cold enough and very little honey dew+sago..

And this is the price for 9 adults and 1 kids!!! Reasonable rite??

Lunch @ Din Tai Fung, The Garden

Is another boring weekend and dear dear is working therefore, I date my eldest sister to Mid Valley for brunch & shopping. Having no idea what to eat, sis suggested to try Din Tai Fung, located at the lower ground floor, The Garden.

In-house speciality- the xiao long bao (RM 11). Is smaller compare to Tu-Long but the skin is kinda thick. I still prefer Tu-Long xiao long bao.

Prawn dumpling la mien (RM14) .. The la mien is not as good as Tu-Long but the prawn is very fresh!

As my niece wanted to eat fried rice, we ordered a shredded pork & prawn fried rice (RM 16). Very expensive as there are only 4 prawns but yummy & enough 'wok hei'.

1st Day in Tadika Mestika

Time flies.. My niece is turning 4 this year which mean is time for her to attend kindergarten.

Today is her 1st day in Tadika Mestika, OUG.. As usual, lots of parents were there with their kids and is a real mess as the kids are running here and there.

Supper @ Murni..

It suppose to be a farewell party but we ended up with supper @ Murni, SS2..

Have been there for few times and this place is always packed with youngster as well as family..This restaurant occupies only 1 shop lot. However, the amount of tables that they provide might be equivalent to the amount provided by 10 restaurants of its size.

It is the most crowded establishment in the whole of SS2 and it is one of the most unique mamak places around. Sometimes is kinda difficult to get a place to park + seat as there are too many pplz... Well, let's see what we had on that day..

My all time favourite- Mango Special

Ribena Special with lots of fruits & nata de coco

And this- The Longan Special & my fren..

Roti Hawaii with lots of chicken, sausages and egg as filling plus a generous dose of mayonnaise squeezed on top of the roti in the shape of a spider web.

The Chicken Chop Rice Set- A large portion but my friend complain that the fried rice is tasteless..

Spaghetti Carbonara- Is very creamy but the black pepper smell is too strong.

Lunch at Tu Long

Last Sunday went Mid Valley with Alice for lunch & shopping..
Both of us had heard so much bout xiao long bao & la mien but never had a chance to try before so we decided to give a try at Restaurant Tu-Long-Xiao Long Bao & La Mien.. a restaurant partly own by the MY FM deejay...

The environment was good and all the table & chair are nicely arrange..
Once we seated, the waiter bought us the menu and this is what we had on that day..

Two thumbs up for this as it is really good.. the soup in it was so delicious and the pork meat was fresh too.. will definitely come back for this again..

Next.. The La Mien.. We order a bowl to share as the portion is kinda big..The waiter recommend us the Shanghai Pork Ribs La Mien (RM16).. Well.. The noodles was great.. so tangy

But a lil bit disappointed with the pork ribs.. The meat is so dry eventho it is well marinated..

The Shanghai Pork Dumpling (RM 6).. The skin is too thick.. I don't like this!!

As for desert, we try this.. i don't know what it called but the taste is a bit weird.. mixture of red bean & peanut butter (RM 6)

Overall, I don't think it is that good of the food except for the xiao long bao & la mien..

A wonderful Christmas Eve with Darling this year.. Went so many places and capture so many nice & memorable pictures eventho I'm sick on that day, but i still enjoy the day with him.

First of all, we went One Utama to shop around and look for christmas gift and we saw this...

We headed to Big Apple Donuts & Coffee for tea and we bought this..

As a compliment, we were given a plain donut for FREE.. well my first impression towards the plain donut was like ergh... but when i give it a first bite.. WOH.. it was wonderful... is so soft + fluffy.. two thumbs up for this..

After having the tea break, we went over to The Curve. Thank God there is no jam.. Christmas decoration in The Curve is much nicer than One Utama.. I luv the snowman..

Lunch at Restoran Ga Fan

Few weeks back while I'm watching Ho Chak by 8TV, they introduce the Restaurant Ga Fan which is located in Taman Connaught.. 5 minutes walk from my office.. According to the host of the TV show, this Restaurant served the best Claypot Chicken Rice in Klang Valley so me and my colleagues decided to give a try..

Not many people in the restaurant as it has already past lunch hour.. Once we are seated, the waiter brought us the menu.. We opt the Thai Style Claypot Chicken Rice & the normal one which is the Salted Fish Claypot Chicken Rice.. Waited for about 20 minutes before the food were serve..

Thai Style Claypot Chicken Rice.. this is not really recommended as it is too sour.. I don't really like it..

Salted Fish Claypot Chicken Rice... This is not bad but not enough salted fish...

My Favourite Soup.. Lotus Root & Peanut

And lastly, the vege..

Overall, the taste wise was just ok... Not as good as the TV introduce.. I think there are many more places which is better than this and the total for 2 claypot chicken rice, a bowl of soup, a plate of vege & drinks come up to RM 28..

Dinner at Yuen Steamboat..

It’s been a while since I last went for a buffet steamboat. Then came the noobs suggesting that we head for the rather famous Yuen buffet steamboat at Sunway Mentari.

Except that I was rather hungry, and when we got there at about 7.30pm, there were about a dozen tables’ waiting list ahead of us. It was about 1 hour later when we were called for our table.
Once seated, we were asked for the choice of soup. We headed to the buffet line right away. There are plenty of big shrimps (both salt and fresh water), crab, squid, and shell fish for the taking. They were all pretty fresh too. Other than a few dozen types of seafood seafood, you can find poultry, beef, various types of fishball and fishcake taste-alike, more than half a dozen vege, kuih, fruits, ice cream, noodles, fried meehun and fried rice. I believe no pork is served.

The claim of fame for this restaurant though, is not merely its steamboat offering, you can get that in many other places. It was their honey chicken wing. We stalked the cooked buffet line for quiet sometime before the chicken wing came out of the kitchen steaming, and it was some 30 seconds before the tray is empty again. We only managed to get a couple pieces per person. The tiny chicken wings were indeed very delicious, with strong taste of honey properly marinated in the wings, it was something you’ll have to try for yourself.

The dinner costs RM 18.80 per person, add RM 1.00 for the free flowing Chinese tea and it’s still less than RM 20.00, a very reasonable for the type of food served.

While on the way leaving Mid Valley after grabbing all the Christmas present, while i pass by the Bread Papa shop... I saw this.. Chocolate Molten Cake!! dear dear know i luv this and he bought one piece for me!

It's a single serving size moist Chocolate Cake

When you spoon out da middle part, da center seems to be filled with gooey Chocolate and it's really warm

Ten minutes later, is all gone!

Buffet dinner at Jagoya,Starhill

Introducing my two besties.. Cami & Su kun

Jagoya 50% promotion for ladies!! Finally.. I manage to make myself there with two of my besties. Well, we did not call for reservation and we try our luck to walk in as according to my besties that the fren manage to get a place without reservation as it is almost the end of the promotion period. Once I reach there, WOH.. there are so many peoples and mostly is ladies!! Gosh… I thought we will never manage to get a place as we are in waiting list no 1742!! As my besties wanna try Jagoya so much, so we wait! An hour later, there captain start calling the waiting list patron.. Phew.. We feel so much better when the captain start calling the waiting list patron which means that we got a chance to get in! =D

Once we are seated, we start to go and grab FOOD.. Now.. Let’s see what we have on that day..

Cheh Fu.... HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Well.. Iwould like apologies to my BIL because after so long only I update your birthday dinner celebration.. hehe..
According to my mama, the MIL must celebrate the 1st year of birthday for her SIL.
Since this is the first year, we decided to have something simple..
We decided to have steamboat instead of those chinese 10 courses meal..
We went Sri Petaling, Ho Ho Steamboat which is located at Jalan Radin right opposite the Berry Cake House. This restaurant is always packed especially during dinner time.
Service is excellent in this restaurant.. We waited about 15 minutes before we could get a table..
Once we are seated, the waiter approach us to take order and 5 minutes later, the food were serve and other equipments are prepared too!! Two thumbs up for the efficiency of their service! Now.. Let's take a look at the food..

The seafood was so fresh...YUM YUM..

Makan Makan Sunday

Woh.. is another wonderful Sunday with my darling eventho he need to work on that day.. Well we start of our Sunday with a brunch at a dim sum restaurant near my house.. This restaurant is always full with lots of people everyday therefore me n my dear decided to give a try. Well i would like to apologise because i forgot to take a photo of that dim sum restaurant signboard + i forgot bout the restaurant name as well.. But no worry.. i will go back to that restaurant to capture a nice photo of its signboard.

Well we start of with a che cheong fun before the rest of the items arrive...

This rice roll taste really good.. It was really smooth and the prawn was really fresh but unfortunately they don't serve the fried shallot or else it will be perfect!

Next is the fried char kuie stuffted with prawn & fish paste.. The char kuie is not really hard and is still crispy with the prawn aroma.

Next, is the King Siew Mai with big big prawn in it.. Yummy..

The faboulous eggplant stuffed with fish paste. Dear favourite!

Fu Chok Roll.. The fish paste is so tangy..

Lastly, is the Steamed Fish Balls.. Is so springy and bouncy!!

Total bill for the 2 of us including 3 glasses of ice chinese tea only came up to RM23. Not too bad isn't it? Place is clean and air-conditioned while the food are tasty and fresh.. Definately a great place to yumcha with family on Sunday morning!

After the dim sum with dear, i went to Mid Valley to shop around and i bought dear's christmas present! Really hard to get present for dear dear..

Nite time, we decided to have dinner around Old Town, PJ. We decided to have something different on tonite and suddenly I recalled that there is a place selling claypot chicken rice which is located right across the main road from the PJ Old Town wet market.

Firstly, we ordered one double-boiled coconut with chicken to share. Quite a huge coconut and it has alot of wolfberries floating on top. Well, the first spoon was a lil bit tasteless but after i stir it, woh.. it was so tasteful! Two thumbs up for this coconut soup!!

A very generous portion of various Chinese herbs with only a slight hint of tongkwai. Soup was really clear and sweet. We both enjoyed it so much until we drank till the last drop.

The Claypot Chicken rice came in a generous portion. The pieces of chicken was well-marinated and it was so smooth and tasty. Together with the salted fish and chinese sausages, this pot of rice tasted wonderful! Unfortunately, before i could snap a nice picture of the claypot rice, my dear already start eating and he forgot i want to take a picture of it! Gosh...

Well, I luv the veggies the most! Is so yummy drizzled with oyster sauce and garlic oil. The veggies was so fresh and crunchy! =D

Total RM16 for all this.. Cheap hor?! Enjoy!!

3rd Anniversary..Part 2

Counting down the days, today marks da 3rd year (1095 days) darling and I have been together. When I think of all da happiness I've known in this 3 years, I realise that without him and his love, so many wonderful things might never come to me and loving him more and more each day.For better or worse, through thick and thin, he has been there by my side sharing laughter and tears through life's uncertain ride.Somehow, with da start of each new day since 3 years ago, I find myself thinking of him in da middle of my busy day, my mind somehow wanders at times and I think of him out of nowhere. I see his smile, hear his laughter and life is so beautiful now because I fall in love all over again each time I think of him and of course, how can we not celebrate our anniversary without a nice dinner? We are not those kind who opt for romantic settings complete with candle lights. In fact, when dear suggested to have a wonderful seafood dinner at KING CRAB, PJ.

First of all, we order a beancurd with siu pak choy & salted egg yolk.. this dish is a special request by my dear as he luv salted egg yolk. My dear was so impatient as he quickly took away a piece of beancurd as he forgotten i wanna take picture of the dishes.. So the pic look abit cacat. Well, back to the dish.. the beancurd was very smooth as it is made by their own chef and the sauce was great!

Next, we order the BBQ lamb but it turn out as a big dissapointment as the meat is a lil bit hard..

As I've mention earlier, my dear luv salted egg yolk and i luv sotong therefore we order a dish which has a mixture of both it.. sotong with salted egg yolk! This is a highly recommended dish in King Crab! Two thumbs up for this dish!!! YUM YUM

Next.. the main dish of the night! The Crab. Dear order my favourite which is the Creamy Butter Claypot Crab. Wow.. this is so wonderful especially the creamy butter sauce and of course, the buns that goes well on its own and even heavenly with the crab's butter sauce.
